From a world of white
Hearts frigid, icicles prick
Frozen roofs and numb trees
She yearned for life drowned
in colours of blissful spring
warmth of newborn rays
And then the door was opened
Wide and bright, vibrant delight
One step away, was a world of
dreams, Of beach and palms
Serene, rich blue and mellow
Stepping back, she stood by door
Two distinct worlds
Spoke different to the eyes
Watching them in awe
Fear engulfed her heart
Opting white to rainbow
She slept awaiting the dawn

Lovely poem Ponnz. A dream within a dream, fear can really keep us frozen. Thank you for joining the challenge.
